Is LVP really 100% waterproof?

The plank itself is waterproof. Standing water on the surface, spilled drinks, and pet accidents will not damage modern rigid-core LVP. However, the seams between planks are not watertight, so water that pools long enough can work between boards and reach the subfloor. Wipe up spills, and avoid letting standing water sit for hours, even on waterproof flooring.
